Hornet Golfers Drop Non-League Match To Jersey Shore At White Deer

The Wellsboro Golf team fell 312-342 to Jersey Shore in non-league play at White Deer Golf Course Tuesday afternoon.
Junior Syler Pietrzyk tied for 2nd overall with a round of 75 with Shore's Kylie Schall. Carter Girton took home the top spot with a round of 69.
Freshman Benjamin Jackson shot an 87, sophomore Logan Johnson finished with an 89, sophomore Chase Schultz and junior Mason Brill both carded rounds of 91, and freshman Samuel Jackson rounded out the team with a 94.
The Hornets finish their season with a 24-13 (24-11 NTL) record. The team will be back in action at White Deer on October 9th for Districts.
