Lady Hornets Suffer 8-0 Non-League Loss To Hughesville

Hughesville held the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team without a shot on goal in a 8-0 non-league win for the Lady Spartans Saturday.
Hughesville scored three times in the first half and then added five more goals in the second on their way to a shutout. The Lady Spartans took 35 shot attempts on goal and had 7 corner kicks (to Wellsboro's zero).
Junior Jadyn Dunlap made 19 saves in goal in 66 minutes of work while freshman Haylie Smith made six saves in the final 14 minutes.
Wellsboro is back in action Tuesday at Towanda.
