Hornets Rack Up 10 District Qualifying Times Against Williamsport, Danville

Members of the Wellsboro Swim team recorded 10 district qualifying times against Williamsport and Danville on Tuesday.
The teams both fell to Williamsport on the score sheets. The boys lost 123-24 while the girls fell 138-20.
For the girls senior Makenna Robbins was 4th in both the 50 Free (28.13) and the 100 Free (1:01.59), both district qualifying times.
Senior Kristina Belz was 5th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:23.42), a district qualifying time.
Sophomore Piper Anderegg was 3rd in both the 200 Free (2:09.68) and the 100 Free (1:00.45), both district qualifying times.
Freshman Joelle Bull was 5th in the 500 Free (6:55.93) and 7th in the 50 Free (31.45).
For the boys, junior Max Mascho was 3rd in the 100 Back (1:06.49) and 5th in the 50 Free (25.27), both district qualifying times.
Sophomore Matthew Robbins was 2nd in the 50 Free (24.19) and 3rd in the 100 Free (54:43), both district qualifying times.
Sophomore Eli Shrawder finished 7th in the 100 Free (1:12.04) and 9th in the 50 Free (31.01).
Freshman Conlen Whitsell recorded a 7th place finish in the 200 Free (2:50.59) and an 8th place finish in the 100 Free (1:16.29).
Freshman Austin DeShazo took home 4th in the 100 Fly (1:09.02) and 5th in the 100 Back (1:12.72). His 100 Fly time was a district qualifying time.
Wellsboro is back in the pool this weekend at the Williamsport Coaches Invite.
